16/12/2020:  The PsychDD virtual AGM was held on Wednesday 16 December at 3:30pm. A recording of the event and meeting minutes will be made available to members. We still have an opening for the position of Treasurer. Please email your interest to psychddnsw@gmail.com

05/11/2020: Due to the restrictions of COVID in 2020, all current PsychDD members will have their membership extended til the end of 2021. To take advantage of this offer please sign up today. Members also get access to our members only section, which includes presentation slides from previous PsychDD professional development events.

06/10/2020: The first webinar forum for 2020 was a great success. Thank you Eirini Lammi for presenting on non-verbal IQ assessments. Eirini will be presenting a face to face session on the UNIT2 in 2021.

26/09/18: In March 2018, PsychDD was invited to be part of a National Roundtable on the Mental Health of People with Intellectual Disability held at the University of New South Wales.

The Association of Psychologists in Developmental Disability Services (PsychDD) is a professional interest group for Psychologists who work in or around the developmental disability sector within NSW. We aim to support practitioners in their work with people with a disability and their families. We do this in many ways including providing opportunities for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), advocating and liaising on behalf of our members, and also providing ongoing support and networking opportunities for our members.
